We are looking for a Production Support Manager to lead our Production Support team within Fill & Pack Manufacturing in Glostrup.


About the Department

The Production Support team plays a critical role in ensuring stable and efficient operations within our Fill & Pack production area. The team consists of seven highly skilled Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who provide technical and operational support across manufacturing processes, equipment, documentation, investigations, deviations, continuous improvement initiatives, and production optimization. The team is a part of Finished Production with approximately 60 employees from various professional backgrounds, including operators, technicians, leaders and support staff. The department is responsible for producing various biochemical products and filling and packaging.  


As Production Support Manager, you will lead the team responsible for providing daily operational support to production, ensuring fast and effective problem resolution while driving continuous improvements that strengthen production performance, compliance, and reliability. 


You will become part of the Finished Production leadership team and work closely with Production Managers, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders across the organization. 


Your Key Responsibilities 

As Production Support Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of seven Subject Matter Experts, ensuring engagement, competence development, and high performance. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. 
  • Ensure effective daily support to Fill & Pack production, enabling stable operations and timely resolution of technical and operational challenges. 
  • Prioritize team activities and resources to support production demands and strategic business objectives. 
  • Drive root cause investigations and implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions. 
  • Partner closely with production leadership to improve performance, productivity, quality, and compliance. 
  • Lead continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency. 
  • Support implementation of new equipment, technologies, and process improvements. 
  • Ensure strong stakeholder management and effective collaboration across multiple functions. 
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making as part of the Fill & Pack management team. 

Qualifications

We are looking for a strong leader who combines manufacturing understanding with excellent people management capabilities.


Preferred qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Science, Pharmacy, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience from pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, biotech, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational support functions.
  • Experience with project management and project stakeholder management
  • Experience working within GMP-regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills with a structured and data-driven approach.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Experience driving LEAN, continuous improvement, and change initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
