Ediphi offers the most comprehensive cloud-based estimating and preconstruction solution on the market. Our goal is to reduce the time spent in preconstruction, enabling projects to break ground more quickly and estimators to feel more confident in their work.

We started when Michael Navarro, an estimating pro at Suffolk, knew there was a better way than relying on spreadsheet nightmares. He began creating a solution built by estimators, for estimators. He teamed up with Dustin DeVan, founder of BuildingConnected (acquired by Autodesk for $275 million), to launch Ediphi in 2023. With a $12M Series A round led by Norwest Venture Partners and with ongoing participation from Suffolk Technologies, Ediphi continues to grow as a SaaS offering for General Contractors around the country.

About This Role

Sales shows a GC what's possible with Ediphi. Product Specialists are why the value in using Ediphi is realized. You'll own a customer's implementation from kickoff to live production estimating, partnering with a Customer Success Manager. You’ll sit side by side with other estimating teams to learn how they price work today, help rebuild that workflow in Ediphi, and then get a room of experienced estimators to trust a new way of estimating. Estimators from top GCs across the country look to you as their partner throughout the implementation process to help them see the value in using our tool.

This role decides whether an account grows. When an estimating team is confident in Ediphi, more teams and offices come on board. Product Specialists are one of the biggest drivers of account expansion. With every customer implementation, you are the face of Ediphi, and your work with other GCs helps our growth.

Working directly with our customers also gives you deep insight into what users think of new features and product releases. You'll pair with Product and Engineering to give our internal teams direct feedback that shapes the product. Product Specialists are paired with major releases and work directly with our engineers to make sure what we build holds up on a bid day.

What You'll Do:

• Own implementations for general contractors, from kickoff through go-live and adoption across their teams.

• Learn the Ediphi platform to confidently guide and support customers.

• Learn how each customer estimates today and translate it into Ediphi, from how they structure an estimate to how they report it.

• Train estimators from the basics through advanced workflows, on-site and remote.

• Run timelines, set expectations, and keep customers moving when change gets uncomfortable.

• Work alongside a dedicated Customer Success Manager who handles contracts and renewals, so your time goes to the people actually estimating.

• Collaborate with Sales, Data, and Support to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Test every major release with our Makers team before customers see it, and push for the changes estimators need.

• Travel to customer sites for implementations, training, and industry events (approximately 30%).

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years in estimating or preconstruction at a GC or specialty contractor.

• You've defended a number in a room, and you know where estimates go wrong.

• You can sit with an estimator who’s happy with their spreadsheet and show them a workflow that makes them say, “Wait, Ediphi can do that?”

• You follow through. If you say it'll be ready Friday, it's ready Friday.

• You're comfortable working remotely and owning your own calendar.

• You'd rather say "let me find out" than guess.

• Experience training people or rolling out software is a plus. A software background isn't required. We can teach you the product. We can't teach estimating.
