Product Manager - Equipment Solutions (EQS)

At ESAB, our Product Manager Equipment Solutions (EQS) serves as the go-to expert for welding equipment and PPE products across the Southeast Europe region. In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with sales teams, distributors, customers, and European Product Management to drive product success, support commercial growth, and deliver technical expertise to the business. While the role has significant regional impact, it does not include direct people management responsibilities.

What You'll be doing:

• Act as the subject matter expert for ESAB Equipment Solutions (EQS) and PPE products across the region

• Execute the regional EQS and PPE strategy in partnership with the wider commercial organization

• Support Sales Engineers, Key Account Managers, and distributors with technical product expertise and customer guidance

• Deliver product trainings and help commercial teams build confidence and capability

• Develop and implement sales campaigns, promotions, and go-to-market initiatives

• Prepare and execute successful product launches across Southeast Europe

• Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend actions to improve results

• Monitor market trends, customer needs, pricing developments, and competitor activity

• Gather market feedback and collaborate with European Product Management on future product development

• Support product lifecycle management and pricing implementation activities

• Manage and coordinate demo equipment stock across the region

Your key competencies:

• Fluent English and local language skills

• Engineering degree

• Knowledge of welding processes and welding equipment solutions

• Minimum 3 years of experience in welding equipment sales, application engineering, technical sales, product management, or a related technical-commercial role

• Strong presentation, training, and communication skills

• Commercial mindset combined with technical curiosity

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders without direct authority

• Collaborative, organized, and results-oriented working style

• Willingness to travel across the region (approximately 60% of working time)

Advantage: Knowledge of welding robotic applications, welding engineering degree, or MBA qualification
