Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

To turn emerging AI capabilities into real, scalable and commercially viable products for Maxis customers.

You will identify customer problems and market opportunities, validate what is worth building, and determine the best route to market, whether through internal development, technology partnerships or integration of external AI capabilities.

This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, partners and commercialisation.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Discovery

Own the product vision, roadmap and lifecycle for digital and AI-enabled products.

Identify customer problems, priority use cases and market opportunities through customer research, market analysis and experimentation.

Develop business cases and assess opportunities based on customer value, market potential, technical feasibility and commercial viability.

Decide whether opportunities should be built, partnered, integrated or sourced externally.

AI Ecosystem & Partnerships

Identify and evaluate AI platforms, technology providers, software vendors, start-ups and solution partners.

Lead product-level discussions on solution scope, integration, commercial models, roadmap and responsibilities.

Manage external partners and delivery teams against agreed product and business outcomes.

Product Development & Launch

Translate customer and business needs into product propositions, requirements, priorities and measurable outcomes.

Work with engineering, architecture, data, security, legal, procurement, operations, sales and marketing to bring products from concept through launch.

Ensure products are scalable, supportable and operationally ready — not simply pilots or proof-of-concepts.

Commercialization & Growth

Develop product packaging, pricing logic, business cases and go-to-market plans with commercial teams.

Understand product economics, including revenue potential, usage costs, partner economics and cost-to-serve.

Track adoption, recurring usage, revenue, customer value and margin, and use these insights to improve and scale the portfolio.

Governance & Product Performance

Ensure appropriate governance across cybersecurity, privacy, data, responsible AI and regulatory requirements.

Define and monitor product success metrics and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Continuously assess whether products should be scaled, improved, pivoted or retired based on evidence and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Product Management or a related discipline.

• 6+ years of relevant experience in product management, digital platforms, enterprise technology, technology commercialisation or platform partnerships.

• Proven experience taking digital, cloud, data or AI-enabled products from discovery through launch and growth.

• Experience working with technology vendors, software providers, start-ups, delivery partners or external ecosystems.

• Strong understanding of generative AI, AI agents, APIs, cloud platforms, enterprise integration and data.

• Comfortable discussing technical architecture, integrations and security with technology teams while translating these into business and customer outcomes.

• Strong commercial acumen, including experience with business cases, pricing, revenue models, cost structures or unit economics.

You will build a pipeline of customer-backed AI opportunities, select the right build/partner approach, and bring differentiated products to market.

Success means moving beyond pilots into scalable offerings with strong adoption, recurring usage, revenue and sustainable economics.
