📌 About the Role

As a Product Specialist, you'll handle the technical setup work that Scribe's enterprise deals depend on. That means getting customers configured correctly during a trial or proof of concept, connecting Scribe to the systems they already use, and ensuring proof of concept engagements can progress successfully. You'll work closely with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers, and you'll spend your time in the product and on calls with customers.

🛠️ What You'll Do

• Deliver proofs of concept to customers quickly and efficiently, owning user provisioning, workspace configuration, and integration setup end to end

• Troubleshoot to separate configuration mistakes from product or access issues, and escalate to the right Scribe teams for speedy resolution

• Run the technical portions of customer calls, including admin walkthroughs and end-user onboarding sessions (you’ll be a product expert!)

• Produce the configuration guides, troubleshooting runbooks, and documented process the rest of the go-to-market team reuses instead of rebuilding

• Shorten the time between a customer agreeing to a POC and that POC producing workflow data they can make a decision on

• Give Product specific, evidenced feedback on where setup friction is costing deals

• Work directly with Product to get early access to new functionality, and provide input on improvements to the platform

🔍 What We're Looking For

• Has 1 to 3 years in a customer-facing technical role at a SaaS company, whether pre-sales, implementation, technical support, or solutions

• Can explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical business stakeholders

• Can operate in an environment with limited documented process and is excited to supporting building the process while doing the work

• Takes ownership over active deals and shows initiative in advancing the deal forward

✨ Nice to have

• Has used Scribe, or another documentation, enablement, or knowledge management tool, as a customer

• Has been in the room for an enterprise security review or InfoSec questionnaire

• Has built something small and working with scripting or AI tooling to solve a problem of your own

• Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or SAP as the systems customers actually run on

🚫 This role is not for you if

• You need a defined playbook and a clear escalation path before you can move

• You are looking for a software engineering role. This job is technical, but it is a customer-facing pre-sales role.

📍 Location

San Francisco: Hybrid. We work from the office 2-3 days per week out of our SOMA office.

💰 Compensation

Salary varies by location tier, which you can validate with your recruiter. All full-time employees receive equity in Scribe. Final offers depend on experience and scope.

Tier 1: $136,000-$170,000 OTE

Tier 2: $123,000-$153,000 OTE

Tier 3: $116,000-$145,000 OTE
