Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Product Engineer the Product Engineer will be responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information /documentation from the customer related to their product.

What a typical day looks like:

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure evaluation related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues
• Work with design team to resolve design related issues.
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material, or product changes to ensure excellent quality of products.
• Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) evaluation and structure definition for production
• Functional Product Documentation review
• Safety Requirements and regulations compliance identification
• Engineering Drawings Interpretation of parts and assemblies.
• Request customer for drawing corrections, additions, clarification, measurements methods

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bahelor’s degree; Mechatronics, Industrial Engineer or related field.

• Experience in similar role with involvement in BOM’s processes and product stages.
• English advanced fluency
• Experience having direct contact with clients serving as strategic partner.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Define product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
• Strong experience in mechanical/product design
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks/ Flex Flow
