Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate CPSC compliance initiatives, including eFiling activities and submissions to the CPSC Product Registry.
• Track and help resolve regulatory notices, including California Proposition 65 notices and factory URN registrations, by coordinating information gathering and internal communication.
• Communicate compliance product holds and release statuses to internal stakeholders and help ensure affected inventory is handled as directed with appropriate documentation maintained.
• Follow up with vendors, Buying teams, and internal partners to obtain missing, corrected, or updated compliance information and escalate overdue or incomplete items as needed.
• Gather, organize, and maintain documentation needed to support regulatory reporting, product registrations, and compliance program requirements.
• Maintain accurate product attributes and compliance data within Bamboo Rose and other company systems.
• Support product incident investigations, recalls, corrective actions, and issue resolution by maintaining documentation and coordinating follow-ups with stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor existing and emerging federal, state, and local product compliance regulations, standards, and guidance documents; summarize potential impacts for internal review.
• Participate in industry webinars, seminars, and other learning opportunities to stay informed of regulatory trends and compliance best practices.
• Support compliance training, internal communications, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives related to regulatory compliance processes.

Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

• Basic understanding of product compliance regulations and standards, including CPSIA, FD&C Act, ASTM standards, California Proposition 65, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and related requirements.
• Ability to learn regulatory requirements and communicate guidance clearly under direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to follow up professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred, including the ability to organize large datasets, create reports, and support regulatory reporting activities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and follow-ups.
• Experience managing and analyzing data from multiple sources and maintaining accurate records in business systems.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle, quality, compliance, or vendor management systems such as Bamboo Rose and Inspectorio preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Development, Buying, Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain, vendors, and other internal partners.
• Philadelphia-based or able to work from the Philadelphia office as required.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Product Development, Supply Chain, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, product compliance, quality, or a related field.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
