We are looking for a Vendor Query team member who will be responsible for managing and responding to supplier requests, acting as a key point of contact between suppliers and the Delivery Center in Chennai (India). The main objective of the role is to ensure the timely and accurate resolution of vendor queries received in German and Spanish, enhancing supplier satisfaction while collaborating closely with the Delivery Center teams (Payments and Invoice Processing) and the Vendor Query team in India.
Major tasks and responsibilities
Answer supplier requests received in German and Spanish by email, and also by phone (approx. 5% of the workload).
Work closely with the Delivery Center teams in India (Payments and Invoice Processing) to resolve vendor queries and ensure accurate and timely processing.
Collaborate with the Vendor Query team in India to align on processes, share knowledge and ensure a consistent service across locations.
Identify recurring issues and propose quality improvements to reduce noise and query volumes.
Ensure proper follow-up and resolution of supplier requests, keeping the relevant stakeholders informed.
Work relations
Delivery Center in India – Payments team, Invoice Processing team and Vendor Query team.
Suppliers / Vendors.
Internal Delivery and Operations teams.
Qualifications
Preferably a university degree or equivalent, especially with a focus on Administration. Alternatively, equivalent working experience in an operational process.
Fluent in German and Spanish, both in the spoken and written form. English is a plus.
Highly customer oriented, with empathy and strong interpersonal skills.
Proactivity, can-do attitude and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work with multicultural and remote teams.
Advanced MS Office.
