Batches of products are mixed according to the applicable recipes and meet product specifications.

• Clean the mixing equipment and surrounding area (as per GMP & Food Safety requirements)
• CIP the tanks and Fillers according to the specific requirements.
• Do visual inspections inside tanks before starting batch making
• Inform QC to take swabs after CIP
• Complete CIP check-sheets
• Audit material against shop floor order and rectify discrepancies with Issuer and sign
• Receive (batch) raw material from stores
• Download recipes from system and load information according to the shop floor order and plan
• Compare shop floor order with the recipes
• Connect swing band properly to avoid contamination of products.
• Report any discrepancies to the Process Controller
• Record the batches on the batch control book
• Take samples of product to QC.
