Process Engineer

About the Role

The role is responsible for continuously optimizing production processes in a sustainable manner through Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis, and by defining and enforcing operational standards.

What You Will Do

• Analyze existing production processes and develop recommendations for changes in methods or operational sequences that minimize risks, costs, and waste; increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of finished products.

• Responsible for training and developing operators to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

• Ensure adherence to product specifications and participate in the development of new production processes by defining new standards and estimating time requirements for each process step.

• Lead the CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication) and CL systems, and ensure compliance with operating procedures, work instructions, and operational specifications supported by the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Collect and analyze loss-related data to develop solutions and action plans.

• Validate production floor information and data.

• Knowledge and understanding of production line downtime and line stoppages.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field (required).

Language: Conversational English (required).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing industries.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong statistical knowledge, including understanding of variables and attributes.

• Safety and quality management.

• Production process management.

• Continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, SMED, and related tools.

• Mechanical knowledge is desirable.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI.

• Schedule flexibility and availability.
