POSITION SUMMARY
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an immediate opening for a part-time Pantry Coordinator at Toyota Arena, Ontario. This position performs event driven serving of food and beverages prepared for Toyota Arena suites and catering locations.
The Pantry Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Kitchen staff and will be responsible for the operations of the Food Pantry. This position includes carrying out Food Pantry appointments, receiving and tracking food orders, maintaining a food inventory system, and data entry.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure all food orders are fulfilled fully and received from kitchen without discrepancy or shortages.
· Responsible for the completion of opening and closing duties assigned by the Concessions, Suites and Catering Manager or Supervisor.
· Maintain organization by rotating shelf-stable product and/or breaking down packaging for the cleanliness of pantry area, and, checking for expirations etc. alongside staff
· Maintain Food Pantry database, paperwork, and files
· Maintain open communication with guests, servers, and staff on all food orders
· Place food orders for pantry in concordance w/ budget and adhere to the budget for kitchen along with supervisors and managers
· Treat all guests and staff with respect and dignity
· Adhere to company and state guidelines when pouring drinks.
· Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
· Any other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
· Must have current and valid food handlers' card.
· Must be able to climb stairs, stand, bend and walk for duration of shift.

· Must have strong communication skills and work well in a team-oriented environment.
· Must be willing to work as a Suite Attendant, Caterer, Barback and/or Bartender, if necessary and/or scheduled.
· Must be able to pass background
- This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting 35lbs. throughout the day
as well as working at the computer; irregular hours will be required.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear.
· This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 50 lbs. Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later. Must be able to pass the background.
