Nuffield Health is the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. We’re here to look after the nation’s health. And a big part of this is about creating the best possible experience for our patients. That’s why we’re looking for someone new to support our colleagues and be there when it matters, helping to deliver the highest standards of care.

As a Healthcare Assistant in Pre-Assessment at our York Hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s even better.

As a Healthcare Assistant in Pre-Assessment, you will:

• Put patient care first
• Carry out administrative duties
• Enjoy time to get to know the people who are our patients
• Meet the needs of every individual
• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact
• Desirable but not essential - to have phlebotomy skills and previous experience in performing ECGs

Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind. From paid overtime to free gym membership, private healthcare and emotional wellbeing support. At Nuffield Health, we take care of what’s important to you.
