We are seeking a hands-on Power Platform Engineer to help establish and grow Power Platform capability for our clients, with a focus on Copilot Studio, automation, multi-agent solutions, apps, Dataverse and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical delivery experience with curiosity for emerging AI capabilities, practical knowledge of Power Platform and the confidence to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.

As a Power Platform Engineer, you will design and implement end-to-end Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions that enable automation, intelligent assistance and process improvement for clients.
The role combines solution design, hands-on development, stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
You will work across the full solution lifecycle—from discovery and requirements capture through to development, deployment, adoption, optimization and upskilling.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
•    Establish and grow client Power Platform capabilities, enabling powerful automation and AI functions across business teams.
•    Design and implement end-to-end Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions, including automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
•    Develop multi-agent solutions, copilots, Canvas apps, Model-driven apps, Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, Dataverse artefacts, AI Builder solutions, Business Process Flows and Power Pages.
•    Communicate with stakeholders to capture, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
•    Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve existing processes, helping clients gain efficiency and measurable value.
•    Engage directly with client and Avanade teams to share knowledge, support adoption and upskill others in Power Platform and AI capabilities.
•    Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, configuration, testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation.
•    Work collaboratively with architects, developers, consultants and client stakeholders in agile delivery environments.
•    Stay current with the latest Microsoft AI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform and wider Microsoft stack features, sharing insights across the practice.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates with:
•    .NET Technology 
•    Experience working with Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Virtual Agents.
•    Expertise in Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows and computer use automation scenarios.
•    Expertise in Canvas app and Model-driven app development.
•    Experience working with Dataverse tables and data formats such as XML and JSON.
•    Competent understanding of Microsoft 365, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams and SharePoint-related infrastructure.
•    Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and the Microsoft 365 SDK.
•    Understanding of Model Context Protocol, Agent-to-Agent patterns and LLM selection would be advantageous.
•    Software development experience, ideally including proficiency in one or more of Python, JavaScript, JSON, React, .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET, REST services or PowerShell.
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Ability to work directly with clients to understand requirements, shape solutions and support successful adoption.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
•    Experience building Power Pages solutions.
•    Experience delivering multi-agent or agentic AI solutions within enterprise environments.
•    Familiarity with AI orchestration, grounding, prompt design and enterprise knowledge integration patterns.
•    Experience with Azure cloud services, application lifecycle management and modern deployment practices.
•    Knowledge of governance, security, data management and Responsible AI considerations for Power Platform and AI solutions.
•    Experience supporting capability-building, communities of practice, training or knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

•    Relevant degree, qualification or equivalent practical experience in software engineering, computer science, information systems, business applications, AI, automation or a related discipline.
•    Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI or Microsoft 365 certifications would be beneficial.
