This is a postdoctoral position working on a project entitled, “AI-Powered Multi-Agent System (MAS) for Real-Time QoS Anomaly Detection and Adaptive Network Optimization in 6G-Enabled Industrial IoT Environments.”
The Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct original research under the supervision of the PIs on the design of multi-agent systems for distributed QoS management in 6G-enabled IIoT. He/she will be part of the research group that will develop, implement, and evaluate deep learning and reinforcement learning models for real-time anomaly detection and adaptive optimization; integrate blockchain and trust mechanisms into MAS frameworks for secure, resilient IIoT communications; utilize and expand Firecell 5G/6G standalone testbed experiments to validate MAS performance (latency, throughput, reliability); and publish findings in top-tier journals and conferences (IEEE INFOCOM, Globecom, ICC, JSAC, TMC, etc.).
The Postdoctoral Researcher will also help mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers working on wireless communications, machine learning, and IoT; collaborate with an interdisciplinary team spanning AI, wireless systems, cybersecurity, and industrial automation; and contribute to project reporting, NSF deliverables, and broader impacts outreach.
This position is funded by a grant or restricted funds. Continued employment is contingent on the renewal of grant or restricted funding.
Responsibilities:

- Mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers working on wireless communications, machine learning, and IoT.
- Write proposals for funding with PIs.
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and conferences (IEEE INFOCOM, Globecom, ICC, JSAC, TMC, etc.) with the PIs.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team spanning AI, wireless systems, cybersecurity, and industrial automation; and contribute to project reporting, NSF deliverables, and broader impacts outreach. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
- No prior Experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree, specializing in signal processing, 5G/6G, communication systems, and AI.
