Position Summary

The Physician Liaison supports field-based marketing and physician outreach efforts across the Florida Gulf Coast region. This role works closely with the Physician Relations and Marketing Manager to strengthen relationships with referring providers, increase brand awareness, and support practice growth initiatives across outpatient medical offices.

This is an early career role ideal for a candidate with foundational experience in medical marketing, healthcare sales, or pharmaceutical sales who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing & Physician Outreach

• Support day-to-day field marketing activities across assigned territories, including physician offices, clinics, infusion centers, and referral sources

• Assist with in-person visits to referring practices to deliver marketing materials, provide service updates, and reinforce key messaging

• Help maintain consistent brand presence across medical offices, including collateral placement and visibility checks

• Represent the organization professionally in the field, serving as a positive extension of the clinical and marketing teams

Relationship & Account Support

• Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with referring providers, office managers, and clinical staff

• Track interactions, feedback, and follow-ups in CRM or internal tracking tools

• Support follow-up activities after events, visits, or provider meetings

Marketing Campaign & Event Support

• Assist with execution of local marketing campaigns, including new provider launches, service line promotions, and community outreach

• Support coordination of lunches, in-office presentations, open houses, and community or provider-facing events

• Help gather field feedback to inform marketing strategy and messaging improvements

Administrative & Reporting Support

• Maintain accurate documentation of field activities, visits, and outcomes

• Assist with inventory management of marketing materials

• Support reporting on field marketing metrics, referral trends, and campaign performance

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Health Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

• 2-5 years of experience supporting physician relations or referral-based marketing models

• Understanding of healthcare environments, including outpatient medical offices and referral dynamics

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly

• Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with clinical and administrative staff

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally throughout the Florida Gulf Coast region

• Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant marketing practices

Preferred

• Prior experience in business development or physician liaison preferred

• Familiarity with CRM systems and basic reporting tools
