Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services that improve residents’ mobility, strength, and overall function.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care according to individualized treatment plans
- Assist residents with exercises to improve strength, balance, and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required)
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
