Join a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence. As a Physical Therapist Assistant II, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services by implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and interventions, and supporting them throughout their recovery journey.Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and within state practice guidelines, you may assist in developing treatment plans, monitor and document patient progress, and modify specific treatments within the established plan of care. Your clinical expertise, compassionate approach, and strong communication skills will help foster positive outcomes and create meaningful connections with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
In this role, you will uphold the highest standards of patient safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance while contributing to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care. You may also have opportunities to support the professional growth of future clinicians by serving as a clinical instructor for students.
Key Highlights:
Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments that support patient recovery, mobility, and functional independence.
Assist with treatment planning, ongoing patient assessment, and progress documentation within scope of practice.
Collaborate with physical therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and privacy requirements.
Support clinical education and mentorship through student instruction opportunities.

Other: Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.

PTA-Registered Physical Therapist Assistant
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
Department - SCAH: Auto Insurance
Department - SCAH: DL-Valid Drivers License
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
1 year of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Critical thinking and problem solving, decisive judgement and ability to work within scope of practice.
Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.

Pay Range is $43.03 to $60.24 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
