ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Physical Security Specialist with strong security technology expertise to join Fever's Global Physical Security team. You will report to the Physical Security Manager, centralize the technical side of our physical security ecosystem and contribute to wider security projects across corporate premises, warehouses, events, and products. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their technical and operational security expertise in a truly global environment: leading diverse projects, collaborating with industry experts, and making a direct impact on the security and success of world-class events.
This position requires a proactive, autonomous professional with technical judgment, a broad security mindset and project management skills, capable of coordinating with multiple Fever stakeholders (including IT, Facilities and Operations) and external partners to maintain the highest standards of security and protection for our people, assets, and operations. If you're eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges within a fast-paced, global environment, this role might be the perfect next step in your security career.
What You'll Do
As a key member of the Global Physical Security team, you will play a central role in shaping how Fever protects its people, assets and events worldwide, from designing, deploying and scaling our security technology to supporting wider security projects and initiatives. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll define standards and turn them into smart, scalable solutions, combining expert guidance with hands-on execution.
You will have a hands-on role in areas such as:
- Help the team with the design, specification and deployment of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV/VMS, intrusion detection and alarm monitoring, across corporate offices, warehouses and event spaces.
- Lead and support wider security projects end to end, from risk assessments and site surveys to planning, implementation and review.
- Support security planning for new markets, venue openings and large-scale events, working closely with Operations, Real Estate, Legal and local teams.
- Contribute to Fever's global security policies, standards and procedures, helping roll them out consistently across regions.
- Define and maintain global technical standards for security hardware and software, ensuring consistency and scalability across existing and new markets.
- Manage relationships with security integrators, vendors and service providers, reviewing proposals, technical specifications and SLAs, and ensuring service quality and compliance with Fever standards.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, tracking system health, performance and incidents, and driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure systems and processes comply with applicable local regulations, including data protection requirements for video surveillance and access data.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system inventories and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support incident response, crisis management and investigations by providing analysis, system data and lessons learned, following Fever's global security protocols.
What You Bring
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
- Have 4+ years of experience in physical or corporate security, ideally with a strong technical component (security systems engineering, integration or a similar role).
- Have hands-on experience with access control, CCTV/VMS and intrusion systems, ideally across several platforms or manufacturers.
- Have experience with wider security work such as risk assessments, site security planning, event security or incident management.
- Have a solid understanding of IP networking and how security devices integrate with corporate IT environments.
- Have a track record of leading security projects end to end and managing integrators, vendors or service providers.
- Be able to work primarily in English, with fluency in other languages a plus (especially Spanish).
- Demonstrate a structured, analytical mindset and the ability to translate security topics for non-technical stakeholders.
- Bring emotional intelligence to work and the ability to communicate effectively with very varied internal and external stakeholders, especially during sensitive situations.
You can expect to join a lovely team of diverse, hardworking and kind professionals, where a cultural fit is someone looking to have an impact and work nimbly. We will strive to provide you the tools and information needed to be successful at your role and grow professionally.
This role is located at Fever's HQ in Madrid, and although we can be flexible with the timing you will be expected to move there if you are currently living elsewhere.
