Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Physical Security Shift Supervisor to join our team in South Windsor, CT. Maintains and services work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization and its associates. Responsibilities include the design, planning, construction, safety and maintenance of grounds and building infrastructure. Including office management activities such as: office space and furniture, central supply, mail, print services, maintenance, records, document production, cafeteria and other services for associates.
This is a fully onsite position in South Windsor, CT. The hours are 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM ET, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
Supervises staff in performance of work and provides guidance in the resolution of problems.
Assigns work to meet completion dates in accordance with schedules fixed by higher supervision and subject to higher approval
Applies and assures employees adhere to established organization procedures, rules and regulations
Conducts performance evaluations for assigned staff
Responsible for ensuring that guard inspections and reliefs are conducted in accordance with the service contract
Makes periodic inspections of assigned facilities and personnel to ensure compliance with current Safety and Security policies and procedures
Investigates any complaints from Associates or staff
Able to draft policies and procedures for upper management review and implementation
Responsible for all activities of the shift
Responsible for all associate administration, such as counseling and scheduling.
Run any shift without supervisory presence
Qualifications:
Minimum education level – High School graduate; college degree preferred
For internal associates: 2 years’ experience at a Broadridge location preferred
For external applicants: Broadridge locations – six years’ experience preferred
Military and/or Law Enforcement experience or the recommendation of the hiring manger can be substituted for the above experience
Must be computer literate and have typing proficiency, and be familiar with and able to use the Microsoft Office (or an equivalent product), including: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat
Be familiar with security systems:
1. Access control systems (S2 ACS a plus)
2. CCTV systems (S2 NetVRs and Axis CCTV cameras a plus)Additional skill sets:
1. Ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner
2. Able to write in an effective, clear and concise manner
3. Able to understand budgetary processesAble to work from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM ET, Monday - Friday. Shift is subject to change based on coverage and department needs. Must have flexibility
Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management
The salary range for this position is $64,000 annual base, with a shift differential. Eligible for annual bonus. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
