Summary:

Under the supervision of the Depot Manager and/or Team leader – Clinical Warehouse Operations, leads operations ensuring the quality and integrity of all the processes related to stored material: reception, storage, shipment, return and/or destruction, according to Standard Operating Procedures or any other required standard. Depot Pharmacist must fulfill job responsibilities following the Regulatory Authorities of the Country ensuring the quality and integrity of all the processes related to stored material: reception, storage, shipment, return and/or destruction, according to Company Standard Operating Procedures or any other required standards including being responsible for signing off processes and releasing shipments for distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies and signs operational jobs.

• Releases shipments for distribution.

• Manages the change of product status both physically and systematically following client instructions and within the scope of applicable Internal Guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with all government legislative and local health requirements.

• Maintain and assure compliance with applicable Internatuonal Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Clinical Practice, Global Distribution Practice, local regulatory and legal requirements, and World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (or any other so required).

• Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, which contain all specific instructions to develop the Depot daily activities, from the moment of reception of the products until the shipment/ delivery of the products to the sites and return process if required.

• Lead packaging instruction forms for secondary packaging relabeling tasks ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices and Global Distribution Practice.

• Perform the quality check on a relabeling process in the absence of a Local Quality Representative and/or when it has been appointed for this function by the Quality Department.

• Have deep knowledge of all the protocols stored at World Courier Depot in order to provide instructions to the Depot Staff.

• Verify and organize all the documentation received, shipment arrival conditions, storage and all extra documentation related to Product received at the Depot.

• Be in daily contact with World Courier Customers to provide them support concerning the protocols stored at World Courier Depot.

• Have deep knowledge about WC Depot installations in addition to the different equipment located there.

• Be aware and contribute to where necessary on possible problems arising from personnel management that may be against working schedule:

• Assist the Team Leader with work allocation and daily schedules including personnel management.

• Manages the status of product to ensure expired stock is moved to Quarantine status.

• Required to be part of an on-call roster 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as in person attendance for emergency response in case of any concern occurring at the facility in relation to temperature control of the product.

• Participate in reviewing and authoring global and local Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction’s and Tracking Reference Number documents

• Work in all temperature-controlled environments including but not limited to:

• +15 to +25°C

• +2 to +8°C

• -20 to -30°C

• Physically perform packing process of inbound, outbound and returned shipments using Cencora World Courier packaging products.

• Participate in occasional scheduled weekend tasks for stock control and balance sheet processes.

• Lead continuous Improvement initiatives to ensure processes are streamlined.

• Fully trained in the Clinical Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Willingness to be trained how to use Export Waiver Process equipment.

• Collaborate with all other Company applicable departments in order to produce reports and ensuring that all the information is collated accurately and produced on time.

• Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for.

Internal Communication and Information Sharing

• Keep Internal Stakeholders informed of the progress of their order and shipment.

• Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders to find appropriate resolutions to Clinical and Commercial matters to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.

• Liaise with the Transport Customer Service team in relation to World Courier transport bookings and ensure correct processes are followed.

• Provide information to all World Courier Australia business units to ensure work output is coordinated in an effective manner.

• Contribute to team and organisational wide discussions by sharing ideas, experiences and recommendations around improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the business.

• Effectively collaborate with all Internal Stakeholders to ensure the function is operating effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a harmonious team environment.

Policy and Procedure

• Comply with standard operating procedures and policies to ensure that the function is demonstrating consistent practices nationally and is in line with strategic objectives.

• Ensure World Courier Australia compliance with all government legislative and other requirements such as Australian Customs Service, Civil Aviation Safety Authority, Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service, International Air Transport Association, International Organization for Standardization.

• Ensure full compliance with international local regulations such as World Courier Australia Registered Air Cargo Security Program Australian Customs International Air Transport Association regulations.

• Ensure full compliance with World Courier Australia quality management systems (Good Practice).

Education:

• Required: Degree in Pharmacy (or Diploma Holder as a Pharmacist, according to local regulations) and Full command of English.

• Certification in pharmacy technician registration or recognized pharmacy technician credentialing per local regulations, or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy support, medication fulfillment, or healthcare operations, or a related field required.

• Preferred: Experience in a management role and preferably in the Clinical Trial business.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

• Position will require being able to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling training.

• Excellent interpersonal relationships.

• Be able to take initiatives and solve problems.

• Self driven and can work autonomously.

• Intermediate computer skills.

• An understanding of Imports and Exports processes and statutory requirements.

• Intermediate experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Sound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detail.

• Sound written and verbal communication skills with a full command of English.

• Problems solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands.
