As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be responsible for translating complex electrical concepts into robust, manufacturable printed circuit board solutions that meet stringent performance and reliability standards. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to define schematic requirements, optimize component placement, and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory specifications. Your role will involve selecting appropriate board materials, tackling impedance control, and addressing thermal and mechanical constraints to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready designs. You will also conduct design rule checks, PCB layout reviews, and iterative refinements to guarantee flawless integration with mixed‑signal, digital, and communications subsystems.
Requirements
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Develop and validate PCB schematics and layouts for mixed‑signal and digital subsystems.
• Perform impedance matching, signal integrity analysis, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) assessments.
• Select suitable components and materials, including power and RF modules, to meet performance targets.
• Create and maintain design rule checks (DRC) and layout verification reports for manufacturability.
• Interface with manufacturing and assembly teams to resolve board‑level issues and optimize production yield.
• Integrate communication protocols such as Ethernet, SPI, UART, and I²C into board design architecture.
• Conduct thermal analysis and design PCB mounting strategies for high‑current devices.
• Produce detailed documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
• Iterate designs based on prototype testing and feedback from QA and field teams.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve design practices.
