Are you looking for a role in a company that's solving one of the greatest challenges of our lifetime? Ophelia helps people end their opioid use and restore their quality of life with respect for their time and dignity. Our mission is to make evidence-based treatments for opioid use disorder (OUD) accessible to everyone... and we're looking to bring more people onto our team to help us achieve it.

We are a team of physicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, researchers and White House advisors, backed by leading technology and healthcare investors working to re-imagine and re-build OUD treatment in America.

About the Role

Ophelia Health is seeking a full-time Partnerships Manager to initiate and develop strong, lasting relationships with community partners to support patients with opioid use disorder (OUD). In this role, you will be the face of Ophelia in local communities, acting as the vital link between our organization and the community programs we partner with. Join Ophelia Health to not only build a career but to make a meaningful impact on one of the greatest healthcare crises of our lifetime. You’ll be part of a passionate team, with ample opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and the chance to truly make a difference in people’s lives.

What you'll do:

  • New Partnership Acquisition: Own the full partnership lifecycle: proactively identify, prospect, and pitch Ophelia to new referral sources. You will manage a high-volume pipeline, moving organizations from 'cold outreach' to 'active partners' with persistence.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: : Nurture and scale existing partnerships. You aren't just a face in the room; you ensure partners remain clinically and philosophically aligned with Ophelia’s mission, turning local organizations into long-term, sustainable advocates for our patients
  • Data & CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools (like Salesforce or HubSpot) to track activity, conversion rates from referral to patient, and ROI on partnership outreach. You will be expected to uncover insights into your own performance, including analyzing which partner types yield the highest patient conversion and adjusting your weekly strategy accordingly.
  • Community Engagement: Spend the majority of your time in the field, meeting with healthcare providers, community leaders, patient advocates, and others to identify needs, remove barriers to treatment, and solidify Ophelia’s presence.
  • Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze feedback from community partners to refine Ophelia’s referral strategies and products. Help develop and build solutions for existing referral barriers.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Ophelia’s marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations teams to achieve outreach and market penetration goals.

  • Live in New York City
  • Able to travel locally within the NYC region (using public transportation) with most working days out in the field
  • 2-5 Years of Experience: Proven track record in Business Development, Partnership Development/Management, Medical Sales, or Account Management.
  • Grit & Autonomy: You are a self-starter who thrives when given a territory and a goal. You don't wait for a task list; you create a plan and execute it.
  • Skilled in independently crafting and executing outreach strategies, with a demonstrated ability to monitor performance metrics, adapt approaches as needed, and ensure objectives are achieved
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a patient-first/client-first mindset
  • Passionate about serving marginalized and vulnerable populations
  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Preferred
    • Experience within the SUD treatment community, with existing relationships in this space
    • Experience working with clinical staff, healthcare administration staff, and people with opioid use disorders
