Part Time Senior Personal Care Assistant – Florence, AZ

A family in Florence, AZ 85132 is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized caregiver to provide part-time personal assistance and household support for an 82-year-old adult living independently. This non-medical role focuses on helping maintain independence through routine daily living support, meal preparation, local transportation, and light housekeeping.

Schedule:

• Approximately 10 hours per week spread over 3 days per week
• Exact schedule is flexible and will depend on driving support needs and mutual availability

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare meals using recipes, clean up the kitchen, and organize the pantry and refrigerator
• Provide transportation to local appointments, grocery stores, and errands, including helping in and out of the vehicle
• Carry and put away groceries, deliveries, and household items
• Assist with household maintenance tasks, such as taking out/returning trash and recycling bins, changing light bulbs, and replacing device batteries
• Perform light housekeeping, including tidying common areas, laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining an organized living space

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and comfort driving an older adult
• Physical ability to lift and carry groceries and household items (approximately 20–30 lbs)
• Highly reliable, trustworthy, punctual, and organized

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with older adults
• CPR and First Aid certifications

Compensation:

• $21–$23 per hour
• Mileage reimbursement provided when using personal vehicle for work-related transportation
