OVERVIEW
As part of the performance marketing team at VML, the Digital Trafficker acts as the operational engine for campaign execution, optimization, and structural excellence across social and display platforms.
We are looking for a disciplined, highly organized professional who demonstrates a strong command of media platforms and audience segmentation. You will work closely with the Connections Supervisor to execute cross-channel strategies, ensuring budgets are paced accurately, creative assets are trafficked properly, and performance consistently meets client goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Campaign Execution & Trafficking: Execute the setup and launch of campaigns across Meta, Google Ads (specifically Display), and other social platforms (e.g., TikTok, LinkedIn, X). This includes configuring audience targeting, uploading creatives, and ensuring brand safety parameters are met.
- Budget Management (Pacing): Lead the daily monitoring of media spend across multiple platforms and campaigns to ensure adherence to monthly and quarterly budgets.
- Platform Operations & Optimization: Manage the day-to-day mechanics of the accounts, including placement performance reviews, bid management, and implementing optimization changes to scale campaigns efficiently.
- QA & Compliance: Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on live ads to ensure landing pages are functional and creative specs are correct before and during launch.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- 2+ Years Digital Trafficking Experience: Proven hands-on experience managing, trafficking, and executing campaigns primarily on Meta and Google Ads (Display network), along with other social media platforms.
- Core Platform Expertise: Strong, daily hands-on knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads is mandatory. Candidates must deeply understand digital media buying fundamentals.
- Advanced Excel Proficiency: Mastery of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, large data sets) for pacing, forecasting, and data organization.
- Attention to Detail & Organization: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, identify errors in creative configurations prior to launch, and meet deadlines autonomously.
OPTIONAL BONUS SKILLS (Not required to apply)
Please note: We are looking for a Social and Display execution expert first and foremost. You do NOT need the following to be considered for this role, but if you happen to have experience in any of these areas, it’s a great plus:
- Programmatic & Ad Serving: Prior exposure to Programmatic buying platforms (Google DV360 or other DSPs like The Trade Desk) and Ad Servers (like Campaign Manager 360 / CM360).
- Certifications: Active certifications in Meta Blueprint or Google Ads (Display).
We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.
WPP (VML) is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to characteristics. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect in which everyone feels they belong and has the same opportunities to progress in their careers.
