In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration processes, coordinating integrations with various systems, and overseeing the release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive solution evolution and address emerging challenges is a key aspect of daily activities.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to establish best practices and standards for platform development and deployment.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Project System (PS).
- Experience in managing configuration and integration of packaged or cloud-based software solutions.
- Strong understanding of platform stability, performance optimization, and release management.
- Ability to set and enforce technical standards that align with business and vendor requirements.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to drive solution design and problem resolution.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Project System (PS).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
