What the Organizational Learning Advisor, Enterprise Systems does at Worldwide

The Organizational Learning Advisor, Enterprise Systems, is responsible for designing, delivering, maintaining, and measuring global systems training for critical clinical and enterprise technology platforms. This role sits within Global Organizational Learning & Development and serves as the dedicated learning partner for Medidata and Certinia, translating complex workflows, compliance requirements, release changes, and business processes into clear, role-based learning experiences that support readiness, adoption, proficiency, and sustainment.

The Advisor partners with system owners, EPMO, IT, Clinical Systems, Finance, Project Operations, functional SMEs, and business leaders to scope training needs, plan learning timelines, develop practical performance support, and maintain training assets as systems and workflows evolve. Primary platform scope includes Medidata CTMS, Clinical Data Studio/CDS, Rave/EDC, eTMF/RCM, eCOA/ePRO, RTSM/IRT/IWRS, RBQM-related workflows, and other Medidata capabilities as implemented, along with Certinia time entry, resource management, forecasting, reporting, project management, financial oversight, and Salesforce-based workflows.

What you will do

  • Lead learning and enablement strategies for Medidata and Certinia implementations, releases, enhancements, new modules, new hire needs, refresher training, remediation, and sustainment.
  • Own the training approach for Medidata and Certinia in partnership with system owners and business stakeholders, ensuring training aligns to go-live timelines, validated-system requirements, financial controls, role-based workflows, and adoption goals.
  • Partner with EPMO, IT, Clinical Systems, Finance, Project Operations, Quality, Security, SMEs, and business leaders to confirm audiences, learning objectives, content readiness, approvals, and reverse-planned training timelines.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain role-based learning journeys, curricula, job aids, quick reference guides, facilitator materials, eLearning, videos, workshops, office hours, system practice activities, assessments, and other performance support resources.
  • Support global end-user training, demonstrations, train-the-trainer sessions, stakeholder briefings, learner communications, adoption support, and remediation across Medidata, Certinia, related enterprise platforms, and other assigned technology systems.
  • Partner with LMS and learning operations teams to ensure training assets are accurately assigned, published, version controlled, discoverable, and reportable within the Worldwide Learning Center or successor learning platforms.

What you will bring to the role

  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, systems-training, consulting, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical, financial, project operations, metadata, reporting, release, compliance, and workflow requirements into clear learning experiences and practical performance support.
  • Working knowledge of regulated or validated systems training, including GCP, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, audit readiness, role-based access, controlled content, training completion records, and system release impacts.
  • Strong written, verbal, visual, analytical, and digital fluency skills; comfortable learning new systems quickly and using LMS platforms, authoring tools, AI-enabled productivity tools, and modern collaboration technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize competing system demands, manage multiple concurrent releases or implementations, and operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.

Your experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Communications, Information Technology, Clinical Operations, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in learning, training, instructional design, systems enablement, technology adoption, clinical operations training, enterprise application training, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering role-based systems training through instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, blended, video, job aid, workshop, office hour, sandbox, and performance-support formats.
  • Experience supporting complex implementations, validated clinical systems, financial or project operations platforms, system releases, global rollouts, training updates, alpha/beta reviews, approvals, LMS publishing, and sustainment.
  • Preferred experience with Medidata, Certinia, Salesforce-based platforms, CTMS, CDS, EDC, eTMF/RCM, eCOA/ePRO, RTSM/IRT, RBQM, LMS administration, training matrices, GxP training, 21 CFR Part 11 environments, or similar clinical and enterprise technology platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
