Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integration solutions across Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS), and other enterprise platforms. This role will provide technical leadership for integrations between Oracle Fusion applications and various upstream and downstream systems, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OCI services, Azure-based data platforms, and enterprise middleware technologies.
The position requires close collaboration with Solution Architects, ERP Data & Systems Leads, Enterprise Architecture teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Financials integration, cloud-based middleware technologies, and multi-cloud integration architectures, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end integration delivery across large-scale ERP transformation programs.
Key responsibilities:
Integration Architecture & Solution Design
Lead the analysis of business and technical integration requirements across Oracle Fusion Financials and related enterprise systems.
Define, design, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
Establish integration patterns, standards, and best practices for inbound and outbound data exchanges involving Oracle Fusion applications.
Design scalable and resilient integration architectures supporting Oracle Financials, AHCS, Coupa, Azure data platforms, and other enterprise applications.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with enterprise integration strategies and roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and governance throughout the solution lifecycle.
Integration Development & Delivery
Lead the development and implementation of complex integration workflows, orchestration processes, data mappings, and transformations.
Design and build integrations using:
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) – Gen3
OCI Integration Services
REST/SOAP APIs
File-based integrations
Event-driven architecture
Enterprise messaging patterns
Support hybrid and multi-cloud integration scenarios across Oracle Cloud, Azure PaaS, and third-party SaaS platforms.
Ensure integration solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.
Provide technical oversight to development teams and conduct code reviews and design reviews.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Partner with QA teams, data workstreams, local business units, and application owners to develop comprehensive integration testing strategies.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing activities.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, reconciliation, and consistency across integrated systems.
Lead integration defect analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution efforts.
Ensure successful execution of performance, regression, and operational readiness testing.
Production Support & Operational Excellence
Lead go-live planning, deployment activities, and hypercare support.
Monitor integration processes to ensure reliable and uninterrupted business operations.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate incident resolution across application and platform teams.
Perform proactive maintenance activities, including:
Configuration updates
Performance optimization
Platform patching
Version upgrades
Capacity planning
Collaborate with application support teams to maintain system stability and service availability.
Documentation & Governance
Develop and maintain detailed technical design documentation, including:
Solution Design Documents (SDD)
Low-Level Design (LLD) specifications
Interface Design Documents (IDD)
Data Mapping Specifications
Deployment and Support Runbooks
Ensure all integration deliverables comply with architecture standards and governance processes.
Support audit, compliance, and operational documentation requirements.
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Extensive experience designing and implementing integrations for Oracle Fusion Financials, EPM (EDMCS etc.), Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS).
Expertise in:
REST APIs
SOAP Web Services
FBDI
Oracle ERP Cloud Adapters
Data transformation and orchestration patterns
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
Experience integrating Oracle Financials with external applications including SaaS platforms such as Coupa, Workday and Azure Data lake.
Knowledge of middleware technologies, messaging architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
Exposure to Oracle APEX is highly desirable.
Business & Domain Knowledge
Knowledge of Oracle Financials processes, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS)
Familiarity with Life Insurance or Financial Services industry processes is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent level
5-7 years of hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience.
10+ years of experience in ERP integration design, development, testing, deployment, and support including Data Migration.
Minimum 2-3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementation cycles, preferably within Financial Services or Insurance domains.
Demonstrated experience leading technical integration teams and managing integration delivery across complex enterprise programs.
Experience with multi-cloud integration environments involving Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
Exposure to Azure Data Engineering platforms and Data Lake architecture is highly desirable.
Experience with Databricks-based ETL and data integration solutions is an advantage.
