The practice offers contact lens care, including specialty fittings, and serves a large senior patient population, many of whom have long-standing relationships with the practice and may require ongoing care for ocular pathology.
What you'll do:
As an Optometrist in this established practice, you’ll provide comprehensive eye care for a diverse patient base, including routine exams, contact lens services, and care for patients with age-related vision changes or ocular health needs. You’ll see approximately 15 patients per day, with a full-time scheduling ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week. The practice is equipped with a Marco digital phoropter, retinal camera, and Revolution practice management software, giving you the tools to deliver efficient, high-quality care while working alongside an experienced support team. For the right candidate, this role also offers the opportunity to grow into practice ownership and management.
Who you are:
You’re a licensed Virginia Optometrist who is passionate about providing exceptional eye care and building lasting patient relationships. A Washington, D.C. license is a plus for candidates interested in supporting both practices. The ideal candidate brings an interest in medical optometry, confidence in caring for patients across a range of ages and visual needs, and a collaborative approach to working with opticians, technicians, and administrative staff.
