Mission

As Optima Solutions Site Manager, you will act as the main liaison between PPG and the customer, ensuring effective communication, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage site activities, support issue resolution, and drive alignment between customer requirements and PPG operations. This is a customer-facing, onsite role requiring strong communication, coordination, and relationship management skills in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between PPG and the customer.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up meetings.
• Coordinate activities between the customer and multiple PPG manufacturing, technical, and support teams.
• Monitor, track, and drive resolution of product, process, and quality issues.
• Prepare and communicate operational, quality, and performance reports.
• Support product launches, trials, industrialization activities, and material implementation projects.
• Ensure accurate updates and reporting within PPG systems and tools.
• Coordinate logistics activities, inventory visibility, and material availability with Supply Chain teams.
• Promote and maintain compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Lead and coordinate onsite teams and resources when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, or industrial environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Availability to work 100% onsite in Barcelona.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within automotive, industrial manufacturing, coatings, chemicals, or related industries.
• Experience managing customer accounts, resident engineering, onsite support, or implant roles.
• Previous leadership or team coordination experience.
