Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.

We are looking for Operations Engineers to join the Technical Operations team at Sysco LABS. Operations Engineers will primarily provide comprehensive technical support services for various systems and platforms used by Sysco Corporation across United States, Canada & Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Providing reactive support through troubleshooting technical issues, unblocking users and detecting root cause(s) based on SLA’s.
• Identifying and resolving complex applications, network, platform and cloud-based connectivity issues.
• Identify recurring issues and drive problem management activities to reduce incident volumes.
• Contribute to service improvement plans and implement preventative measures to improve system stability.
• Create, maintain, and regularly review knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
• Deliver small application changes, configuration updates, and enhancement requests.
• Operate in accordance with ITIL best practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Engaging and coordinating with end-users, other stakeholders such as engineering and 3rd parties during the issue resolution process.
• Support upgrades and new deployments of the applications.
• Can work on a roster covering 24/7 support to our end users.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a technical support/systems administration will be a key advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365/ SAP/ Salesforce/ SAP Hybris or similar commercial platforms.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Knowledge of Sales and Commercial business processes and supporting business critical applications.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, managed service providers, and third-party vendors.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Knowledge and experience on the Windows server / UNIX platforms.

• Sound network troubleshooting knowledge including LAN/WAN, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewalls, and Routing.

• Knowledge of Shell or Python scripting will be an added advantage.

• A dynamic personality with a good balance of technical abilities and communication skills who can handle pressure situations.
