Position Summary:

The Operations Administrator will work closely with a network of suppliers and internal operational teams, to support the smooth flow of materials into the business through effective purchasing, order tracking, and supplier coordination.

Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), the role is responsible for raising purchase orders, receipting goods, maintaining accurate inventory data, and monitoring supplier performance against agreed service levels. The position requires regular communication with suppliers to manage delivery schedules, resolve shortages, address quality issues, and ensure commitments are met.

Success in the role depends on strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to hold suppliers accountable whilst building positive long-term working relationships. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with systems and data, proactive in solving problems, and capable of producing accurate reports to support operational decision-making and supplier performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders and process goods receipts within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).

• Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.

• Build and manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers, acting as the first point of contact for operational issues.

• Resolve supply issues by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to minimise disruption.

• Produce regular inventory and supplier performance reports, including KPI and SLA reporting.

• Escalate quality, availability, and delivery concerns where supplier performance falls below expectations.

• Applying and understanding ITW Business Model to working methods and approach, utilising ‘80/20’ methodology for time and project management.

• Provide general administrative support to the Operations Team.
• Ensuring the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• To always embody the ITW core principles of Integrity, Simplicity, Trust, Respect, Shared Risk acting as true ambassadors for all Offsite brands.

Skills and Experience:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Confident communicating with external stakeholders and challenging when standards are not met.

• Strong problem-solving skills and persistence in resolving issues.

• Comfortable working with data and reports .

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure.

• Professional, reliable, and proactive in approach.
