This position is being recruited by Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA). NAFSA is being established as a strategic national initiative to strengthen Pakistan’s agri-trade ecosystem through enhanced regulatory oversight, facilitation, and modernization of food safety and trade processes. The selected candidate will be part of NAFSA’s foundational team, contributing to the development of systems, processes, and institutional capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Legal Directorate, including drafting/typing of routine correspondence, formatting documents, and supporting dispatch/receipt tracking under supervision.

• Maintain structured filing systems (physical and electronic) for litigation case files, contracts, legal opinions, notices, and correspondence, ensuring proper indexing, version control, and retrievability.

• Update and maintain case registers, hearing calendars, cause-list trackers, and contract/documentation logs as directed by the Legal Section Head.

• Support preparation of hearing and meeting bundles by printing, scanning, photocopying, binding, and organizing pleadings, annexures, evidence documents, and reference materials; ensure timely dispatch to counsel/courts/stakeholders as required.

• Manage incoming/outgoing mail for the Legal Directorate, including recording, routing, follow-ups, and maintaining delivery acknowledgements where applicable.

• Support scheduling and logistics for meetings/hearings/consultations, including coordination of venues, documentation circulation, and maintenance of basic minutes/action trackers as assigned.

• Ensure strict confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive legal documents, including controlled access to files and proper custody of originals.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Legal Section Head/Deputy Director/Director Legal consistent with NAFSA’s mandate.
  

Requirements

Education:

- Intermediate (twelve years) or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant office support experience.

• Basic computer and record-keeping skills; discretion.
