Liquid Personnel are recruiting for its client for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join the Community Occupational Therapy Team in Ceredigion.

The role involves managing complex adult and older adult caseloads, with a focus on specialist equipment, adaptations, manual handling and promoting independence. 

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Manage a varied and complex community OT caseload.
• Complete assessments and provide specialist OT interventions.
• Assess for equipment and housing adaptations.
• Complete manual handling risk assessments and develop handling plans.
• Provide advice and support to service users, families and carers.
• Supervise and delegate to OT Assistants and students.
• Work with health, social care and other agencies.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Occupational Therapy degree/diploma.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Post-graduate community OT experience.
• Experience managing complex caseloads.
• Strong experience with adaptations, equipment and manual handling.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with delegation and supervision.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel across the county.
• Ability to work in the county a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Enhanced DBS required.
