Liquid Personnel is recruiting Occupational Therapist for its client in Barnsley.

Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to carry out housing adaptation assessments and provide specialist recommendations that help residents remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Working closely with residents, families, housing teams, and contractors, you will complete functional assessments, produce detailed reports, and support the delivery of minor and major adaptations across the borough.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Complete housing adaptation and functional assessments
• Produce assessment reports and recommendations
• Identify appropriate equipment and adaptations
• Work with residents, families, housing teams, and contractors
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience within Adult Social Care, Community OT, or Housing Adaptations
• Knowledge of DFGs, equipment, and adaptation processes
• Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
