The Section of Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Adult Primary Care Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse and multicultural patient population.
As a member of a large, collaborative primary care team consisting of more than 70 physicians and advanced practice providers across six clinical suites, you will serve as a Primary Care Provider delivering comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients.
Position Highlights
- Full-time opportunity
- In-person, patient-facing role
- Monday through Friday schedule
- One evening clinic per week
- Two Saturday clinics per year required
- Opportunity to care for a diverse, multilingual patient population
- Faculty appointment with Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct routine wellness visits and same-day sick visits
- Provide preventive care and chronic disease management
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
- Collaborate within a team-based, patient-centered medical home model
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience required
- Prior Primary Care experience strongly preferred
- Experience caring for culturally diverse and underserved populations preferred
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- New graduates will not be considered

Compensation Range:
$53.85- $78.13This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
