Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.

Role Overview

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a highly organised and technically savvy Network Planning Analyst to join our NetTeam in Adelaide. NetTeam builds, operates and maintains a global IP network supporting multiple Sony Interactive Entertainment products and services.

In this role, you will provide operational and coordination support to the Network Planning team, helping to ensure network data, documentation, systems and processes remain accurate, current and effectively managed. You will also work closely with internal business functions and external suppliers to coordinate tasks, track deliverables and report progress.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working autonomously, proactively engaging with stakeholders and bringing structure and clarity to complex or changing priorities. You will need to be confident working with technical information, systems and data, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, organisation and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational coordination and support to the Network Planning team.
  • Coordinate tasks and information across multiple groups to ensure actions are clearly understood and progressed.
  • Maintain project and activity status trackers, incorporating updates from regular team meetings and stakeholder discussions.
  • Administer and maintain the team’s documentation repositories, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and up to date.
  • Create, manage and track Jira tickets, ensuring actions and updates are recorded and followed through to completion.
  • Maintain and update Confluence pages and other team documentation.
  • Work closely with internal Procurement and Vendor Management teams and external suppliers to coordinate network-related orders and fulfilment activities.
  • Collect, analyse and validate data across relevant systems, portals and management platforms, identifying discrepancies and ensuring information is accurate and reliable.
  • Coordinate supplier contract renewals, working with relevant internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure activities are completed within required timeframes.
  • Review and update technical, operational and process documentation to reflect current systems, processes and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, documentation and ways of working through effective use of data, technology and AI-enabled tools.

What we’re looking for:

Education and qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a project support, team coordination, sourcing, procurement, data intelligence or similar role.
  • Experience working within a technology, telecommunications, ICT, cloud or other technically focused organisation.

Technical competencies

  • Highly proficient in Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with Google Workspace.
  • Technically savvy, with confidence working across ICT, telecommunications, network or other technical systems and databases.
  • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity, analysis, reporting and day-to-day ways of working.

Skills and experience

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience working with data, validating information and producing reports.
  • Experience creating and maintaining process, technical or operational documentation.
  • Experience coordinating projects, activities or workstreams across multiple teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and proactively drive activities through to completion.
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders across different functions and levels, including proactively approaching others to gather information, clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

Behavioural competencies

  • Personal drive and motivation.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and progressing work.
  • Commitment to excellence and delivering work to a high standard.
  • Collaborative approach with a willingness to support others and build strong working relationships.

Leadership competencies

  • Ability to engage deeply with stakeholder needs and understand the broader context behind requests.
  • Ability to bring clarity and structure to complex or ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to set your own agenda, prioritise effectively and proactively pursue outcomes.
  • Ability to coordinate and influence across teams without direct authority.
