Ferring + You
You will lead a dynamic, professional and highly effective national sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets across the gastroenterology and microbiome portfolio. As the senior sales leader for the business, you will combine brand-focused strategic thinking, strong people leadership, business acumen and clear communication to translate commercial strategy into disciplined field execution and measurable outcomes. Through purposeful leadership, sound decision-making and a focus on the success of others, you will help achieve Ferring’s long-term ambition of delivering life-changing solutions to patients at every stage of life.
Your day at Ferring
Translate the annual brand plans and commercial strategies into focused national sales priorities, clear field behaviors and measurable execution plans
Lead the coordinated execution of sales activities, promotional campaigns and projects with the sales team and cross-functional commercial partners
Set direction and pace for the national sales team, creating clarity, accountability and momentum against monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
Coach and develop each team member through clear performance goals, differentiated development plans, timely feedback and a focus on enabling the success of others
Use sales, customer, product and territory data to diagnose performance drivers, identify opportunities, make timely decisions and prioritize targeted interventions
Own forecast quality and contribute strong business acumen to resource allocation, budget management and commercial trade-off decisions
Ensure effective utilization and optimization of the Ferring CRM and digital engagement platforms, with disciplined data quality and follow-through
Foster collaboration and clear communication within the sales team and across commercial and non-commercial functions
Partner cross-functionally on integrated brand planning and commercial strategy, bringing high-quality customer and field insights to inform decisions
Build an ambitious, accountable and learning-oriented team culture that supports engagement, adaptability, pace and continuous improvement
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities, uncover unmet needs, strengthen brand awareness and deepen organisational relationships
Contribute as a member of the local extended leadership team and represent Sales at key internal and external meetings and congresses

Extensive customer-facing experience within the pharmaceutical industry; gastroenterology experience is an advantage. Relevant experience may supersede a degree requirement. Ability to travel within Australia and internationally, with 40-50% travel required
