Job Purpose:

In our ambition to gain share and create value, this position will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and decision support for the sales in the NALT sub-cluster (IDBU, Turkey and Egypt business, in line with the business segment strategy.  Along with creating insights on finance performance and value creation journey, the position will ensure achievement of NSV, profitability and cash targets. The role will partner the market head on revenue and all local costs such as Promotions and local Overheads. In addition, the role has accountability for partnering and guiding on pricing strategy, trade investment, category mix and customer /channel support in the country. This involves providing financial direction and guidance to sales & other relevant stakeholders on the current business performance for and acting as a catalyst to improve future business performance via robust assessment of longer term activities and driving through to implementation.

It is critical that this position motivates the NALT S&F team, and NALT broader organization to ensure value creating mindset and agile & digital working environment. The role will also be responsible for building a high performance collaboration environment and drive engagement within the team. It is also expected that this position will develop a team of business partners to Influence the organization to deliver the business targets.

Roles & Responsbilities:

• S&F business partner for the market – as such, supporting in all aspects of financial performance for the respective NSV, including insights generation from period performance, YEE forecast, and gap closing.
• Partner the market director on revenue and all local costs such as Promotions and local Overheads.

• Consolidation and analysis of all relevant information for decision making to achieve business financial targets.

• Provide insights to support the delivery of growth in the market through supporting the sales strategy definition and achieving targets set within operational plan/3 yrs value creation plan.

• Develop strategic partnership with the sales team through focus on understanding the competitive/market landscape, uncover opportunities for growth and further understand the customer environment.

• Partner with SRM and the local organization to support and roll out ROI models and best practices to evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and ideal pricing strategy to drive value creation.

• Initiate, lead, and manage projects which will improve current business processes and deliver against strategy.

• Establish and drive digital tools/reporting and a value creation mindset within the local Sales/channel organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance (MBA preferred)

• +10 years business experience, including financial analysis and internal control

• Demonstrated analytical skills and proven ability to manage processes within a complex and ambiguous environment

• 3 years of trade management and pricing strategy experience

• Direct or indirect line management experience is preferred
