Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 MSK Clinician – Foot and Ankle Biomechanics to join an MSK service in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled clinician with specialist biomechanics expertise to work within a dedicated foot and ankle service, providing assessment and treatment for patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions.

The successful candidate will work autonomously, managing their own specialist caseload while delivering evidence-based care and contributing to service development.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive specialist biomechanical assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with complex foot and ankle conditions.
• Carry and manage an autonomous specialist caseload.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt management plans to optimise patient care.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and promote best practice within the biomechanics service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Podiatry
• Current HCPC registration
• Significant experience working within specialist biomechanics or musculoskeletal services
• Experience working within the NHS or private sector in the UK
• Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload
• Postgraduate qualification in Biomechanics (desirable)
  Experience implementing service improvements and leading change initiatives (desirable)
