In this position of MSAT Bioconjugates Process Expert, you will make a difference by being responsible for the successful supervision, support and life cycle management of bioconjugate processes in Lonza’s facilities in Visp. You will play a crucial role in the network between the different departments such as development, manufacturing, quality assurance and quality control.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

• Assume the role of MSAT Process Expert for the manufacturing of clinical or commercial bioconjugates by being responsible for the execution of your assigned programs in the best possible time, quality and cost, in compliance with the relevant laws, regulations and guidelines with view on safety, quality, hygiene and the environment.

• Assume a crucial role in the network between the different departments.

• Deliver all inputs required for your assigned programs from a process and cGMP standpoint.

• Own the life cycle management of your assigned programs including technology transfers, scale ups and suite changes.

• Lead process troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor and optimize your assigned programs in a continuous manner.

• Represent process MSAT in audits and inspections.

What we are looking for:

• Master or PhD or equivalent experience in bioconjugation, biotechnology, chemical engineering, organic chemistry or related fields.

• Solid experience in bioconjugation and biopharma manufacturing, preferably in the areas of bioconjugation or DSP (mammalian or microbial).

• Preferred cGMP experience.

• Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and within the organization.

• Proficient in English; German language skills of advantage.

• Motivated, creative, agile and open-minded.

• Eager to foster teamwork and inclusion.
