This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who can build trust, communicate effectively, and drive reliable execution in a heavy industrial, union environment.

About the Role

You will lead approximately 16 employees across the mold line operation at Warrick Operations as part of a four-supervisor team. Working a rotating DuPont schedule, you will be visible on the floor across two production lines and the lab, providing day-to-day direction, resolving issues, and reinforcing safe and consistent work practices. You will partner with production, maintenance, planning, quality, and engineering teams to support operational performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

·     Lead the safety and health performance of your crew by identifying and reducing risk, reinforcing safe work procedures, addressing at-risk behaviors, and taking accountability for environmental, health, and safety practices.

·     Set, communicate, and execute daily priorities that align the mold line team with department, location, and Warrick Operations objectives.

·     Coach, counsel, and engage employees on standard operating practices and performance expectations, building commitment and resolving workplace concerns professionally in a union environment.

·     Coordinate and lead troubleshooting with production, maintenance, planning, quality, and engineering partners to restore performance and address operational issues.

·     Develop and implement practical process and work-practice improvements that strengthen productivity, quality, reliability, and consistent execution.

·     Complete the administrative responsibilities of frontline leadership while maintaining a strong floor presence across the operating area.

What You Bring

·     High school diploma or equivalent.

·     At least two years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial or comparable manufacturing environment, with the ability to lead hourly employees and manage day-to-day execution.

·     Strong safety orientation and the judgment to recognize risk, reinforce procedures, and create an environment where employees speak up and work safely.

·     Clear communication, conflict-resolution, and employee-engagement skills, including the ability to gain buy-in, set expectations, and work effectively with all levels of the organization.

·     Strong problem-solving, organizational, and continuous-improvement skills, with the initiative to challenge current practices and implement practical change.

·     Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work a rotating DuPont schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

·     Experience supervising in a union environment, including employee relations and conflict resolution.

·     Associate degree in a technical discipline.

·     Experience in metals, automotive, smelting, or another heavy industrial setting.

·     Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, computer systems, metallurgy, science, or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

·     Shipping or logistics experience, which may be helpful but is not required.

Physical and Schedule Expectations

·     Ability to work a rotating DuPont schedule.

·     Ability to maintain an active floor presence, including frequent standing and walking between two production lines and the lab throughout the shift.
