Key responsibilities:
Platform Availability & Support:- Administer and support the Okta Identity platform and Google Workspace, including Universal Directory, SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, and API Access Management.
- Monitor platform health, perform routine audits, and manage incident response related to access issues or suspicious behavior.
- Troubleshoot advanced access or authentication issues and serve as L2-L3 support for IAM-related tickets.
Processes automation, Integrations and Access Control:- Design, implement, and maintain user access policies, roles, and groups based on business needs and security standards.
- Manage onboarding/offboarding workflows, automation rules, and app integrations (SCIM, SAML, OIDC).
- Drive adoption of least privilege principles.
- Ability to work with REST APIs for basic IAM administration, troubleshooting, and automation.
Documentation & Process Management:- Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to meet ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR access control requirements.
- Maintain clear and current documentation of configurations, processes, and access models.
Requirements: 1+ year of experience in Okta administration or enterprise IAM systems. Hands-on experience with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, AD, or Azure AD Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and audits. Strong understanding of IAM best practices, security principles, and regulatory requirements.Nice to have:
Okta Certified Administrator or Consultant certification is a strong plus. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Familiarity with SIEM tools, ITSM systems (e.g., Jira, Google Workspace). Working knowledge of Zero Trust and access governance frameworks.We offer excellent benefits, including but not limited to:
