The Role You’ll Shape
Counsel Health is building the future of AI-native primary care, and we’re looking for an experienced physician leader to help lead and scale our growing medical group.
This is a player-coach role where you'll directly manage our W-2 and 1099 physicians providing asynchronous acute, primary, and longevity care, while continuing to see patients approximately 30% of the time.
You’ll be a key partner to our VP of Care Delivery and VP of Clinical Operations, scaling the world’s leading AI-native medical group. You’ll support day-to-day care delivery, raise the bar on physician performance, and build a medical group where clinicians feel supported, connected, and accountable for exceptional care. This is a rare chance to build at the cutting edge of AI in care delivery.
Where You'll Lead
Scale and lead a high-performing medical group. You're a physician leader who knows how to inspire, develop, and retain great clinicians. You're equally comfortable setting expectations and holding the quality bar high.
Shape the physician experience and culture. You'll build a culture of clinical excellence and accountability while leading physician meetings and driving initiatives that improve engagement and retention.
Build and launch new clinical programs. You know how to turn clinical ideas into scalable care experiences. You'll work directly with our Product and AI teams to design and launch new programs, shape clinical workflows, and influence the evolution of our care model.
Drive clinical and operational excellence. You have strong analytic skills, can dig into day-to-day challenges and drive solutions alongside Clinical Operations.
Lead with clinical judgment. You're a trusted clinical authority who can navigate complex cases. You know when to make a decisive call and when to escalate.
Stay connected to patient care. You believe the best clinical leadership comes from understanding what happens on the front lines. You'll continue practicing medicine approximately 30% of the time, bringing firsthand experience into how you lead physicians and shape care delivery.
