What you’ll do

• Mechanical Service Leadership: Lead and oversee mechanical service activities including equipment rebuilds, workshop and field maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
• Technical Execution: Perform equipment assembly and disassembly, inspect customer-returned components, prepare inspection reports, and support rebuild and repair activities for pumps, bearings, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Team Guidance: Provide technical direction and coaching to service personnel, lead shifts or small crews during shutdowns and customer site activities, fostering capability and engagement.
• Customer Support: Maintain timely communication with customers, resolve technical issues, and deliver high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
• Travel Requirements: Primarily based in Ulaanbaatar with occasional travel to customer sites for shutdowns, inspections, maintenance activities, and underground pump-related work.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:

• Diploma, Degree, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Fitting & Machining, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably with pumps, bearings, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, diagnostic techniques, and ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards with a Safety First mindset.

Nice-to-haves:

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in workshop or field service environments.
• Experience in the mining industry or heavy industrial equipment maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead work activities and provide technical guidance with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with customer engagement and service coordination in a technical environment.
