CSA – Primary Math Teacher

Purpose of Role

To deliver engaging and effective Mathematics education to primary students in line with the Cambridge curriculum, developing their mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, confidence, and positive attitude towards learning.

CS Academy, Coimbatore has three campuses. Two are in Kovaipudur (Main) in adjacent facilities and the third primary campus is in the heart of the city at Red Fields. Our boarding house in Kovaipudur is open for boys and girls from class IV for both CBSE and Cambridge International students. The picturesque main campus located in the foothills of the Western Ghats is ideally suited for exploring and learning

CSA – Primary Math Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
  • Develop students' numeracy, mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
  • Prepare appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and learning resources based on students' learning needs.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies, practical activities, manipulatives, and digital tools to support effective learning.
  • Assess and monitor students' academic progress through classwork, activities, assessments, and regular observation.
  • Provide constructive feedback, support, and differentiated learning opportunities to meet individual student needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessment, progress, and academic development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and academic coordinators regarding student progress and learning needs.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, curriculum planning, meetings, and other academic activities as assigned by the School Management or Academic Coordinator.
