About the role

Rystad Energy is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, analytical, and adaptable Marketing Manager to join our regional marketing team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will support the development and growth of regional marketing for Southeast Asia (SEA) and India, including, but not limited to, owning and driving regional marketing campaigns spanning brand awareness, event marketing, digital marketing and lead generation, while also supporting client-facing marketing initiatives for Mainland China. You will be part of the APAC regional marketing team and work closely with the global marketing verticals, regional commercial teams and other corporate teams, joining meetings and aligning with frameworks and best practices to understand and align strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsible for developing and executing Rystad Energy’s regional marketing plans (for APAC) and campaigns for SEA and India subregion, and continuously optimizing based on success scores.
• Develop and execute the Account-Based Marketing strategy and activities for selected key regional accounts, including email campaigns, as part of the Client Marketing strategy.
• Partner with the growth marketing team to drive paid search, conversion rate optimization, lead nurturing and technical landing pages with responsibility for local posting and develop and execute multi-touch campaigns for attribution, nurturing and expansion.
• Manage end-to-end event planning and execution, including vendor management, venue coordination, event setup, onsite branding, pre- and post-event follow-up and performance tracking and reporting.
• Understand our target market and utilize marketing tactics - whitepapers, webinars, webpages, email campaigns, broadcast, partnerships to nurture leads through the marketing bowtie and to sales-qualified leads.
• Support, as needed, marketing for high-value regional products and content campaigns for target segments, thought leadership and community-building efforts across the region.
• Understand the energy market and how different changes can be incorporated into the current marketing activities.
• Take part in regional commercial feedback by running surveys, interviewing Sales and gathering feedback to input into the overall regional marketing strategy
• Identify and support external events and partnerships associated with the sub-region’s needs.

Experience and qualifications

•           3–5 years of relevant work experience in regional marketing, account-based marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, or sales enablement

•           Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a business-related field.

•           Fluent in English; Professional working proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese (Simplified) is required to support Mainland China clients.

•           Previous experience in the energy sector, consulting industry, or DaaS/SaaS environment.

•           Proven track record of organizing and executing events, webinars and content-based campaigns.

•           Excellent verbal and written communication skills; all materials produced in English, with translation coordination as needed for local markets.

•           Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, project management tools, webinar-hosting tools, Canva and basic videography/video editing capabilities.

•           Strong ability to measure and interpret campaign data, both online and offline and translate findings into strategy.

•           Deep understanding of the diverse cultural and business landscape across APAC markets.

•           Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a drive to optimize campaign performance.

•           Team player comfortable managing multiple stakeholders with strong opinions, across a matrixed organization.

•           Strong multi-tasker with the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

•           Self-motivated achiever comfortable communicating with all seniority levels.

•           Must be willing to collaborate across time zones (EMEA, Americas, APAC).

•           A keen interest, knowledge and understanding of AI tools and how they can be used to enhance work and productivity.

Location

This position will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, SEA and India, also based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
