Sobre este puesto de Marketing Coordinator en Crestoperations
DIS-TRAN Steel is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can bring energy, organization, and follow-through to programs that connect our employees, candidates, customers, and community. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety: one day you may be coordinating social content or an employee spotlight, and the next you may be preparing for a career fair, organizing branded merchandise, or supporting a community event.
You will work closely with Marketing, Human Resources, Recruiting, Creative Services, employees, vendors, and community partners. The right person will be comfortable managing details behind the scenes while building strong relationships and representing the DIS-TRAN Steel brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Plan, schedule, and publish social media content that highlights our employees, projects, recruiting activities, events, and community involvement, gathering the information, photos, video, and approvals needed to keep content timely and engaging.
• Partner with Human Resources and Recruiting on employer-branding campaigns, career fairs, campus activities, hiring events, and other talent-attraction efforts.
• Coordinate employee-engagement programs, internal events, employee spotlights, recognition activities, and related communications.
• Support community involvement, volunteer activities, and sponsorships by coordinating logistics, participation, promotional needs, and social coverage.
• Manage the DTS SWAG program and support trade shows, customer events, recruiting events, and other marketing programs through ordering, inventory, materials, signage, merchandise, logistics, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate photography, video, graphics, signage, and other creative needs with Creative Services and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain calendars, project information, vendor details, inventories, and program records, and track participation, engagement, attendance, distribution, and other applicable results.
• Identify coordination gaps or recurring issues and recommend practical ways to improve the process.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:
• You are highly organized and enjoy keeping several programs, deadlines, vendors, and stakeholders moving in the same direction.
• You write and communicate clearly and know how to adjust your message for employees, candidates, vendors, and community partners.
• You notice details, follow through on commitments, speak up early when something is at risk, and can turn an idea into an organized, well-executed program.
• You enjoy building relationships and can work effectively with people at every level of the organization.
• You bring creativity and practical judgment to content, events, employee programs, and brand representation.
• You are willing to be hands-on, whether that means preparing materials, organizing merchandise, attending an event, or capturing content in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Two to four years of experience in marketing, social media, event coordination, communications, community relations, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, project-coordination, writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and common social media, marketing, and project-management platforms.
• Ability to travel occasionally and support events outside normal business hours when needed.
• Ability to lift or handle up to twenty-five pounds for event, merchandise, or promotional-material needs. Assistance or approved equipment will be used for heavier items.
EXPERIENCE THAT STANDS OUT:
• Coordinating organizational social media, content calendars, employer branding, recruiting campaigns, career fairs, or campus activities.
• Coordinating employee engagement, recognition programs, internal events, volunteer activities, or sponsorship activations.
• Ordering, tracking, inventorying, or distributing branded merchandise and promotional materials.
• Coordinating creative deliverables and tracking participation, engagement, attendance, or other marketing-program results.
