Manufacturing Operator - Compression MoldJob Description:
Our site in Chaska is seeking several Manufacturing Operators to join our Compression Molding team. As a Manufacturing Operator, you play a critical role in supporting Entegris’ commitment to innovation and high-quality manufacturing. In this role, you are responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring compression molding machines and related equipment while closely following Standard Operating Procedures and strict quality standards. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and consistent execution ensures the production of reliable materials that serve as the foundation for our advanced products and technologies.
Various flexible shifts needed to work on the following shifts:
-A12 Shift: 6am – 6pm (Rotating Mon – Wed / Mon – Thu)
-B12 Shift: 6pm – 6am (Rotating Mon – Wed / Mon – Thu)
-C12 Shift: 6am – 6pm (Rotating Fri – Sun / Thu – Sun)
-D12 Shift: 6pm – 6am (Rotating Fri – Sun / Thu – Sun)
What You’ll Do:
Set up and prepare compression molds on a variety of press machines according to work order specifications, ensuring accurate alignment and correct machine configuration
Calibrate scales and weigh raw plastic materials in powder form and load materials into molds with precision to meet production and quality requirements
Trim and finish molded products using approved cutting tools and techniques to achieve required dimensions and surface quality
Safely handle and transport molded materials, moving them to designated ovens or staging areas for the next processing step
Utilize SAP and other electronic systems to locate and enter data, issue raw materials, generate production documentation, and record all outputs in compliance with ERP and training requirements
Partner with materials handlers to maintain proper stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of raw materials
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to apply necessary press adjustments based on product specifications or process improvements
Complete all required production documentation accurately and on time, including production reports, rack tickets, labels, component sheets, rework forms, SAP transactions, and quality charts for rejected materials
Support key business processes by promoting customer satisfaction, waste reduction, product quality, and cost efficiency
Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts such as 6S, Kaizen events, and other improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and promptly reporting potential hazards to supervisors
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental operations and broader organizational goals.
What We Seek:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship
At least one year of previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Basic computer and data entry skills
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to always be worn while on duty. This includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests
Adherence to strict cleanroom attire standards is always required while in a cleanroom. This includes the use of specified protective gear and garments designed to maintain a clean and controlled work environment

Compensation: $21-25+ hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
