Manufacturing Engineering Manager

We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop a talented engineering team supporting our Miami manufacturing operations. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to shape manufacturing strategy, improve how we operate, introduce new technologies, and develop the next generation of engineering talent.

What You'll Do

As Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you'll lead the engineering organization responsible for manufacturing process performance, equipment and technology improvements, and technical support across the operation.

You'll partner closely with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain and other teams to:

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, providing coaching, technical direction and career development.
• Drive manufacturing excellence by improving safety, quality, yield, throughput, reliability and cost.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness, partnering with R&D and cross-functional teams to successfully transition products and processes into production.
• Own complex technical problem solving, including root cause analysis, FMEA, DOE, statistical process control and corrective actions.
• Advance automation and digital manufacturing capabilities, identifying opportunities to improve processes through technology and Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Lead capital equipment projects from requirements and vendor selection through installation, qualification and implementation.
• Strengthen manufacturing processes and documentation while maintaining compliance with applicable cGMP, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Build long-term engineering capability by establishing standards, sharing best practices and developing technical talent.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline with 6+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or another highly regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience leading, managing or developing engineering or technical teams.
• Demonstrated success improving manufacturing processes, equipment performance, quality, productivity or cost.
• Experience leading technical projects and working across functions such as Operations, Quality, R&D and Supply Chain.
• Strong knowledge of structured problem-solving and engineering tools such as root cause analysis, FMEA, DOE and/or statistical process control.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

You don't need to check every box. Experience in one or more of the following areas will help you succeed:

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Automation, controls, digital manufacturing or Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Capital equipment specification, procurement, installation and qualification.
• New product introduction, process validation or manufacturing technology transfer.
• cGMP, quality systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Engineering, project management or continuous improvement certifications such as PE, PMP or Six Sigma.

The Environment

This role is based in Miami, Florida and works closely with our onsite manufacturing teams. The position may require work in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments and approximately 10–20% travel for project support and collaboration with other sites.
