Job Overview
Wargaming is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join the Global IT Products department and help ensure the quality of internal corporate systems and services. You will work with a variety of products, from web applications to complex microservices and integrations, applying testing approaches and techniques based on the specific needs of each product.
The role offers an opportunity to work with complex business logic, large datasets, and different types of internal systems while taking ownership of the quality of products.
We also value initiative: while the core tools and approaches are defined by each product's needs, we encourage QA Engineers to identify opportunities for improvement and suggest additional tools or practices when they can bring value to the product and team.

What will you do

Independent implementation of the full cycle of project testing (functional testing of web applications, microservices, API)

Product testing without ready requirements

Creation and maintenance of test documentation
-
Acceptance of builds before releases, quality control of defect fixes
-
Monitoring of reports on errors and failures
-
Analysis and testing of project/product requirements
-
Evaluation of testing work
-
Participation in team meetings
What are we looking for?
-
2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
-
Strong analytical skills and experience working with big datasets, calculations, corporate applications with complex business logic
-
Experience in testing web applications and microservices
-
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and software development life cycles
-
Understanding of client-server architecture principles
-
Experience in writing test cases and checklists
-
Experience with bug and task tracking, documentation, and test case management tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail)
-
Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and SQL
-
Good Excel skills and experience working with data, calculations, and spreadsheets.

Fast learner

Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

Comfortable with switching between tasks and projects when needed - flexibility is essential in our workflow

Open to working with legacy or outdated documentation without frustration

Communicates respectfully and constructively, even in challenging situations

Able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks

Previous experience in ERP, HRIS, payroll, or similar domains is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused while working with complex calculations and large datasets
